thank you so much for all the comments...the ones i´ve been getting via e mail and on the blog. while i don´t have the time to respond to all of them, thank you! it makes me miss everyone a lot! and to susan my boss at sojourn (www.gosojourn.com) where i guide bike trips, you would´ve creamed me on those descents!!! can´t wait to ride with you again!

Hey Jude! We just (so to speak) caught up with you guys today...good stuff! We have one variation to Rachels "u blew it" rules; 3 sixes are worth 600, 4=1200, 5=2400, and 6=4800.(It doubles each time)
Here's a Shish Kebab marinade recipe that shouldn't be too hard to do on the road, that even Margo might appreciate;
1/2 cup vegatable oil
3 TBS. lemon juice
4 1/2 TBS. tamari or soy sauce
2 1/2 TBS. sesame oil
1 scallion thinly sliced
3 garlic cloves pressed
1 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
Maybe you can find some bamboo skewers, or....? If you use bamboo, don't forget to soak them before putting on the fire!

hello darling! loved your pictures. we had snow the other day, lots for eugene so we took your car over to valley river parking lot and did donuts!! dents minor. alex has been making sure your violin still plays well. he's quite the virtuoso. anna accompanies him on penny whistle. sunshine is doing well after my remedial-level first attempts at fixie riding. i should have considered the mud factor. sugar snap is at co-mo - paint will be good as new- they've promised. love you!!
