Where the Journey really is...

Hello. Where to begin today. Believe it or not we have not left Buenos Aires. On a regular SOPA (seat of pants adventure) things change almost instantaneously. We finally found a map which also forced a difficult route change...difficult in that my expectations of this journey needed to change. And this my friends is the most difficult adventure for me--acquiring flexiblity with grace and wit while releasing expectations. So, get out your maps, this is the new ¨plan¨: start in neuquen and ride directly west to the andes. ride along the andes through the lake region making our way to el bolson where we hope to work on this organic farm for a few weeks. post that experience, ride south.

yesterday we experienced riding our bikes through buenos aires. it felt great. there is absolutely nothing that compares to riding a bike...i think i wear the biggest smile on my bike. we´ll get into what my tires actually ride over as we get going a little more...

and on a final note before we have to figure out how we´re going to get to neuquen, we met some other kids doing a bike tour as well. their names: brook and ethan. we met them on the street while trying to find maps. they´ll start in mendoza and ride south so it is likely we´ll see them along the way...and it´s a good thing, they have their own floor pump! hee hee.

until later...

jude.
